FME in Overdrive: Unleashing the Power of Parallel Processing

TRC developed an innovative approach using FME Form, Flow, and Python to migrate large amounts of data quickly, resulting in a 30x increase in processing speed. Instead of processing all data linearly through a workspace, data was divided into smaller packages and processed simultaneously across multiple FME Flow Engines. This approach has also been applied to other types of processing, including updates, deletes, appends, and data exports. By leveraging the versatility of FME Form and the power of FME Flow, TRC can successfully scale data processing to client’s data size.
